Jamie Be is a practicing diagnostic sonographer with 14+ years of clinical experience. She is currently the Senior Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Specialist at Columbia University Medical Center. Jamie was awarded the ARDMS “pioneer” Musculoskeletal Ultrasound certification in 2012. In addition to holding the “RMSKS” credential, she is also registered in Vascular Technology, Abdomen, OB/GYN, Pediatric Sonography, and Breast. She has developed Musculoskeletal Ultrasound protocols for Radiology departments at several clinical sites in the New York City metro area. She has trained physicians and sonographers in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound across the country.
Recently, she co-developed a Musculoskeletal Ultrasound E-course for Pegasus Lectures. This e-Course includes over 50 hours of Anatomy and Pathology lectures, Scan Labs, Physics, and Interventional Procedure walkthroughs.
Jamie Bie is also the author of “Musculoskeletal Ultrasound: A comprehensive guide to MSK Imaging and Interventional Techniques.” This book is the best resource currently on the market, with thorough illustrations and in-depth protocols. She currently reviews practices for MSK ultrasound accreditation for the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) and am a member of UPAC (Ultrasound Practice Accreditation Council).
In her spare time, Jamie enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
